Summer Outfit and Hair!

Hey guys, today's been pretty rainy where I live, so it's time to write a new post! :) Today's post will be a summer outfit and hair idea! Hope you guys like it!

Outfit:
For me, summer is all about loose clothing that is cute yet can keep me cool in the heat. This is why my typical go-to outfit consists of cute flowy printed shorts with a t-shirt and matching necklace. Yesterday I decided to go for these super comfortable blue patterned shorts with lace at the bottom, a simple white v-neck, and a cute Eiffel tower necklace to match. For shoes I decided to go with these adorable tan sandals with a little heel in the back from American Eagle. The perfect mix of simple yet fashionable.

Hair:
For hair I opt to go with something that can get hair out of my face. Summer is full of heat and sunshine which can get our hair very sweaty if it's all down, which is why I love this option! I think this hairstyle is really trendy and especially flattering for those of you with longer hair! It's a french braid side ponytail, and I'll try to explain it the best I can.
Step 1: Break your hair up into two sections
Step 2: Starting with the right side, begin by making a french braid starting at the top of your head and continuing to the nape of your neck. A french braid is like a regular braid, where you have 3 sections that are crossed over each other. However, each time you cross you add hair to that section. (It's a little difficult to explain, but it's easy once you get the hang of it)
Step 3: Once you reach the nape of your neck, continue the french braid, angling your hair so that it goes all around to meet the other section of hair.
Step 4: Tie the second section of your hair with the braid into a ponytail.
And there you have it! I absolutely love this hairstyle because it's very casual, yet the french braid helps accent it and give it a very soft look.

I really hope you guys like and try this outfit and hairstyle over the summer! Love you guys! <3
